We tread the path others turn from. We head toward the danger when others flee. We have honour and pride in our role. We are committed and dedicated to the communities we serve. We stand and face those who seek to destroy our homes and families.
We are flesh and blood. At times we are weak and vulnerable. We are a family and when we lose a family member we hurt, we grieve and we cry. We, like you, are human.
Yet we stand strong, shoulder to shoulder and will lay our lives down for our colleagues. Integrity and honesty underpin our values.
Without fear or favour we will continue our duty and carry the memory of our fallen colleagues and the traditions of the service with us.
